A wedding with room for both gravity and mischief

That balance seems to sit at the centre of Georgia and Josh’s relationship. They were clearly up for the significance of the occasion, but never interested in becoming overly serious about themselves.

Their bar sign said “Hydration Station”, an inside joke that has since found a place at home and still makes them smile. Georgia’s favourite photograph is the one where she is grabbing Josh’s tooshie—an entirely unsurprising choice, she says, because it captures their usual dynamic. Choosing people who felt right

Georgia and Josh chose The Button Factory in Cheltenham because it immediately felt like their vibe: simple, intimate and with enough character that it did not need to be overloaded. They held their Chuppah downstairs, then moved upstairs, where the changing afternoon and evening atmosphere was part of what they had hoped for from the venue.

What mattered most once they arrived was seeing their idea become real. The florals were a major part of that, as were the festoon lights and the electric florals later on. But Georgia and Josh’s approach to the day was less about adding more and more, and more about trusting the right choices.
